Great features, very functional. Still much to learn about how to cook with this range.

I just recieved my range one week ago. I am already so pleased with my purchase. The KitchenAid support staff is exceptional.
Questionable Burner Effectiveness

I regret purchasing this type of stove with its respective shortcomings. The front burners put out a tremendous amount of flame and BTU's; however, one cannot turn them down to a low setting to simmer something that's hot. If one uses the downdraft feature, even at low, so much heat is shunted out the vent that it barely is effective. In addition, it is so noisy that a conversation is difficult. If one uses the rear burners with the downdraft feature activated, the cooking time is multiplied to many times as long as a normal cooking time would take, effectively making them useless.
Don't buy this range!

Don't buy this range! The control panel is a very poor design, it takes forever to preheat, burners are not capable of simmering and the Aqualift 'Cleaning' technology is a joke; it flat out does not work. I am sorry I purchased this, it has been very disappointing.

Stove is good-looking and heavy-duty. Preheat time is a bit too long and some features are complicated.
