Since we have moved into our new house two years ago, we have been introduced to the wonder that is KitchenAid appliances. We love our NEWEST KitchenAide fridge that became our primary and the original KitchenAid that came with our house became our secondary and the "other brand" be bought as a secondary got kicked to the curb! We also have a KitchenAid dishwasher and hopefully soon we'll replace our range as well. These appliance far out perform the "high end" appliances we once owned.

Bought this fridge in July to replace our 4 yr old Kenmore Elite french door fridge that bit the dust. I love the look of this fridge and the 2 drawers are awesome. So handy for the kids to grab their fruit or stuff to make a sandwich with. The freezer is plenty big and the top fridge part is plenty big too. I LOVE the measured fill and use it daily. The icemaker is quite loud when dispensing ice but it hasnt clogged up yet (this was a constant issue with our Kenmore). Hope this fridge last a very very long time.

My fridge was just around 9 month, when I realized it is leaking. By the time I noticed the leak it did damage my hardwood floor and one wall of kitchen cabinet. It happened on Friday. I called service and they said the soonest date available is Tuesday.

This refrigerator has so much room I can't believe it. From the outside you can't tell but both the refrigerator and freezer hold a ton of stuff. The freezer pull out shels are so convenient. As are the drawers. No more bending over. Very ergonomic. Stylish and modern looking. Wish I had bought one sooner. The ice and water dispenser and top notch.

Wow, this fridge is gorgeous - I have friend envy now! I particularly like the 2 small drawers, so easy for drinks in one, and fruit in the other. I also like the half sliding shelf for taller items. It makes ice quickly. Glad I spent the extra dollars for this one. The only con is that this is not the 'fingerprint proof' stainless steel - that was disappointing.

This refrigerator is awesome. It has a beautiful, sleek modern look and has a ton of space. The drawers are a convenient spot for quick snacks and drinks. Our only complaint is it came with some minor interior scratches. We were told this would be fixed within 4-6 weeks but haven't heard anything since. It's been over the given time frame. This is the only reason for one less quality star since it came this way from the manufacturer.

I loved this fridge, until the bottom freezer drawer started freezing over on the side. I adjusted according to the manual, with no change. It is only 18 months old, outside of the 1 year warranty, of course. We splurged on the upgraded model already, and now have to sink another $500 into it. Not worth it.

Imagine the main circuit board fails, and the refrigerator is not even 2 years old? Convenient that the part is only warranted for 1 year. This is a $400.00 repair. Suddenly, last week, all the lights inside the refrigerator went dark. The ice maker stopped making ice, and the display froze. You can't get water either. I've already had to replace one door which wasn't made properly, so it didn't close correctly. Quality control is lacking. Just got rid of a 1 1/2 year old Kitchenaid Microwave last week, where the door sensor, which was replaced twice by Kitchenaid, failed once again. Also conveniently out of warranty. No excuse for this.

After a couple of months of having this refrigerator it had a leak water all over my brand-new floors with an expensive renovation which leaked into my basement causing water damage in the basement. It took them about 3 weeks to get the part and figure out the problem and I had to use one roll of paper towels every couple of days to clean out the inside of the fridge with water until it was fixed. Then I had another problem condensation and water all over the ice maker inside the fridge and on top of the fridge. They've came back about 10 times to replace parts and you got to figure another 10 times to come back after it's not fixed to figure out what the problem is. KitchenAid keeps replacing one part at a time like my time is valuable. Not to mention the part is never in stock and takes at least 2 to 3 weeks to get in.I gave up about 20 days mostly Saturdays and I work hard and so does my wife that we don't need this. I don't understand why KitchenAid doesn't replace after all these problems all the parts that could be an issue and fix the problem. If it doesn't fix it then obviously they should replace their fridge. I bought 5 expensive kitcheaid appliances because I was told it's top-of-the-line appliances the appliances without going to Wolf and products like that and I will never buy a Whirlpool product again. My friend has the same fridge and he has nothing but problems as well. PC Richards Tech who I know also states that this is a refrigerator with multiple issues and I shouldn't have bought it. Don't buy this horrible product from this horrible corporation that doesn't stand by their products and do the right thing. I'm so fed up I finally called consumer affairs and they're sending me a Complaint Form to get the ba

This Cadillac of a refrigerator came with the home I purchased. Only 16 months old, a freezer part that prevents ice build up failed. Not under warranty after only one year, it was a $400 repair. Just too fancy for my taste. Otherwise it's a lovely appliance. After having a Kitchen Aid fridge for twenty years, an older simpler version, that never ever once broke down, I now wish for my old one. It did essentially the same thing this one does- keep food cold and frozen. Sometimes new and expensive is not better

This fridge gets me thanks to those two extra refrigerated doors. One is produce and the other can be set to whatever you please - really adds a convenience to pull something out with having to open everything up. My only complaint is that the doors are really too short for large drinks (i.e. cartons, 2 liter bottles, etc.)

I purchased this refrigerator a month ago and have been very happy with it. It has a great warranty, but then it is a KitchenAid. Very smart use of space. The two drawers in the front will hold produce, bottles of wine, meat and cheese and so much more. It frees up all kinds of space inside the refrigerator for other things. I have put more in this refrigerator than any other before it and I still have room for more. The trays in the freezer make it easy to use and food doesn't get buried at the bottom of the freezer only to find after it is freezer burnt and no longer good to use. This was definitely worth the cost without purchasing some of the high tech tools that seem unnecessary when purchasing a refrigerator.

I love this fridge, except for the ice and water section. The ice box is super small and takes a long time to make more ice and the water continues to pour for a second after you realse your cup from the lever. Other than that it is a very spacious and beautiful fridge.

I loved the look of this fridge and had to have it. I bought it 12/2015 and consider this the worst kitchen appliance purchase I've ever made.
1) The right side door bins aren't really are big enough to place milk gallons with ease. 2) I took out one of the shelves to make room for taller items, but it still doesn't really help. 3) The water/ice dispensor sits right above the temperature changing drawer. Water that spills from dispenser falls right on top of the drawer and seeps under the temperature control module. Mine shorted out within 4 months of owning it. After removing the temp control module on the drawer, I found pooled water around the wires. I never bothered having it replaced since I knew eventually I'd just have to replace it again. This is a huge design flaw and it will continually short out for the duration of owning the fridge. I did some research and found this has happened to many owners. 4) I am presently one and a half years into owning this KitchenAid refrigerator and yesterday all interior lights stopped turning on and the ice/water dispenser have completely stopped functioning and the main control panel is malfunctioning. Nice.....

I bought this refrigerator from Sears in October 2016. Other than the fact it was delivered with dents in two door (that were replaced), I have had four service calls. Two were to fix broken drawers (one in the freezer which caused ice crystals on everything), the others were to fix the water from forming on the ice bin and water from leaking from the top of the frig. The serviceman replaced the entire gasket component and it still leaks. I had another service call and the repairman said it needed additional gaskets and he would double them up to fix the leak. Another call is scheduled for next week. I have owned a KitchenAid mixer for over 40 years and it just went out. I replaced it with another KitchenAid. So, I have used KitchenAid products with success but this refrigerator has been a thorn in my side. I wish I had never bought it and kept my old Kenmore.

I thought this was the best addition to my brand new kitchen. I purchased this in June of 2015 and enjoyed it without using the dispenser. I was willing to overlook the loudness of the motor because it was so beautiful and had great features. I designed my dream kitchen perfectly and all was well until I hooked up the ice maker 2 months ago. What a disaster! Water everywhere for days and then the temperature dropped in the fridge. I called for service. The man took apart the entire refrigerator and then put it back together again. It still leaked but I thought it might "right" itself after some time but it didn't. The refrigerator is just a faulty mess. For such a PRICEY item it should work perfectly. Now that my food is spoiling, I'm really upset. It's too hot for this mess. My next service call better fix the problem. Not a happy customer.

My husband picked this refrigerator because it has a really "cool" look to it. I have found that I have a challenge arranging the shelves to accommodate our food items in the refrigerator area. In the freezer section, I feel there doesn't need to be three tiers. This can make the drawers a bit too shallow. I think having just one drawer on top and making it deeper would be better. I'm still getting used to the middle section with the two drawers and have not decided how I like that yet. It would also be nice if there were an additional ice maker in the freezer section as we use a lot of ice, especially in the summer. Overall, it does what it's supposed to do and I'd look to KitchenAid again, but perhaps look at a different configuration and not let my husband pick it out. ;-D

THis is our second replacement...horrible fridge horrible service and support. leaks, doors never "close", pings all night, ice forms everywhere...fighting to get anyone to help...NEVER BUY THIS fridge. almost one year since we bought the first one...this is garbage, "support" is worse. Do not buy this fridge!!!! The bottom freezer drawer will not seal over time. It will build frost and the ice maker will quit working. When you call KA they send a qualified service rep. The first guy heated the seals then duct taped the drawer shut. Told us it had to remain that way for several days. To date I have 8 service calls and one complete replacement, which has the same problems the last one had. I currently have no freezer and no ice. Customer service will not help anymore. Nice looking but Poor design. You will be wasting your money!!

Had this for nine months and it went out which happens sometimes. Customer service is horrible. This item has been out now for five (5) days and they still can't fix it. KA will not replace it that is their policy. So be advised you are on your own if it goes out. It is a nice piece and did work well when it was working.
I'll give them to the end of the week then have to dispute the charge. Credit Cards co's. always side with you.

This refrigerator is less than one year old and has never been able to keep ice from melting! Had KitchenAid repair man come out twice to inspect and both times I was told that the melting water inside my refrigerator coming from the ice maker and from the ice storage bin area pooling inside the herb compartments is within manufacturers parameters of working properly. Seriously! I have never has a refrigerator not be able to keep ice cold number one and number two I have never had one leak melted ice water into the fridge. KitchenAid does not want to take responsibility for a poorly operating and a design dud. Our other five KitchenAid appliances work great but we are deeply disappointed with this refrigerator and wish we would have purchased a different one. Will not recommend to anyone.

The refrigerator usually is not the focal point of the kitchen, but this one steals the show. It is gorgeous and very functional too. I usually prefer a model without the lost space from the water/ice dispenser, but this unit is so easy to use and convenient that I am enjoying the beverage feature.

We got this refrigerator in March, 2017. For the first week it didn't cool at all. Turns out it had no refrigerant in it. To their credit, kitchen aid promptly sent a check for $250 to replace all our thawed and ruined food. For our part, we cleaned up the food mess and lived out of coolers for a week. Now it runs, even makes ice, and looks gorgeous. But it sounds like a lawn mower. The second repairman said that can be repaired, but the life of the compressor may affected by the absence of Freon earlier. It's clearly a lemon, but kitchen aid isn't in any hurry to agree. We are waiting.
