Digital Marketing and Communications Specialist
Silica For Your Home is looking to fill a Digital Marketing and Communications Specialist position at the Fond du Lac Store location.
Silica is a family-owned business that proudly serves the community since 1922. Our stores are located in Fond du Lac, Beaver Dam and Watertown. Our main focus is to provide our customers with excellent service and to give them the best experience at all times, for a lifetime. Silica seeks to hire people with the ability to fit our culture as well as the ability to fulfill the responsibilities and requirements as stated below.
General Outline: To offer your knowledge and creative talents to optimize our marketing concepts through all social media platforms as well as traditional print and radio advertising. Having knowledge of marketing best practices and having excellent oral and written communication skills is vital to the success of this position. This is a full-time position with company benefits as well as an employee purchase program. Compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and education.
Responsibilities: This position will work closely with the President of Silica in all aspects of marketing and branding Silica’s name. Candidate will be creating email marketing, social media marketing and digital advertising as well as press releases and in store promotions on our products and services for targeted results. Other responsibilities, but not limited to, will be marketing analytics, managing the marketing budget, periodic trade show travels, organizing corporate travel and events, and working with vendors on promotions such as consumer financing and manufacturer rebates.
Requirements: Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in marketing, strong verbal and written communication skills, and proven ability to fulfill all of the responsibilities indicated above. Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe products also a plus.
