I bought this as an addition with our new laundry set. Its a must for those that do not want to wear out there clothing that machine washing can do over time. If what we were wearing isnt dirty or stained we use the Styler to sanitize our clothing to retain its color and fabric. Weve found this to be a must especially if you wear expensive clothing.

My sister has been using a LG steam styler for a few years. So I knew its exceptional performance. It helps the freshness of clothes last longer if they had no stains or dirt etc especially ones that require dry-cleaning. It doesnt replace but reduces washing and dry-cleaning. I chose to shop at lg.com instead of other vendors because I had heard great things about LGs service support outside Korea. When I placed an order I chose the delivery and installation option. But the guys who delivered it just dropped it off in my place and plugged it in and that was all. According to the manual 1 the product shouldnt be operated without installing a drip pan 2 the product should be properly leveled and fixed to the floor if the floor is carpeted before use fixing pins come together with the styler 3 fixing the styler to the carpeted floor requires tilting the machine for safety fixing pins should be attached to the feet of the styler before it is unloaded from the trolley. If the styler is placed on top of the carpeted floor due to the carpet pile there is not enough space for the drip pan to be installed. Since the machine may shake a bit during the operation like a washing machine it can fall if its not properly fixed to the floor because it is tall and slim. In my reading of this manual just plug-in shouldnt count as installation because when the styler is not ready to use when it is simply plugged-in. The space I wanted to use the styler was carpeted. To make sure whether it can stand safely on the carpeted floor I asked the delivery guy and he said yes. But as soon as I started reading the manual and checking out the accessories that came together with the styler I immediately learned that the delivery guys hadnt properly installed it. Ive contacted the company that arranged the delivery but I havent got responses at all. If LG treats delivery and installation separately the delivery and installation option for online purchase is terribly misleading well I found it even deceptive. The webpage should have informed the customer in advance about the occasions that s/he may have to hire a handy man at her/his own cost to install the styler correctly. And if that had been the case I wouldnt have bought it.

Since it was delivered to my place I use it almost every day. It refreshes sanitizes and dries clothes. Im happy to wear them after freshly being steamed.
