awesome machine; very fast, full bin w/in 1 night of its purchase and ready to go the next day; there is some heavy sound emitted while making ice BUT if you place the Opal against a wall on one of the sides it will null the noise!

First one had a loud whining sound that kept getting worse . They sent us a refurbished one amd it does the same thing . They have not resolved the issue .
