This unit replaced a 25 year old GE side by side that came with the new house. This unit replaced a 25 year old GE refrigerator. The GE tradition of high quality, exceptional value continues with this unit. Not a day goes by that we don't look at each other and express our satisfaction with a heart felt "I love this refrigerator". It does its job keeping foods cold and vegies and fruit remarkably fresh. The filtered water and cubed and crushed ice dispenser is a joy!

I recently (1-month ago) purchased my GE refrigerator. After waiting 6-months for the backorder manufacturing and delivery, after a short 1-month of operation the unit just quit working. First it was the freezer that wouldn't hold temperature which caused ice maker to leak out on to my wooden floor. It was a telling sign of the refrigerator that also stopped cooling. Very sad situation!

I love the look of it and I love the space inside, it’s exactly what I wanted. However, it is noisy. Hums like it’s being powered up all the time.

It serves it's purpose. The biggest problem I have is the ice maker. It is so LOUD when getting ice out, and it is slow and messy besides. I have had several ice makers over my life and this by far is the worst. I do love all the lighting inside the fridge. The spaces are pretty well organized, and the freezer is fine. But the ICE MAKER is AWFULLY LOUD!
