the GE - FQK1K in line water filter system is so easy to install and works so well to filter all the impurities out of your tap water that feeds your fridge water and ice maker. You can install it in a very easy to reach location and change it as ofeten as indicated.

I installed my GE Under Sink Water Filter FQK1K in my guest house in New Orleans myself and WOW it was easy and solved the need for bottled water instantly! The tap water is now CLEAN SAFE AND PURE and no aftertaste! A MUST HAVE here in New Orleans! Also removes metals in tap water that will damage our expensive Antique vases, glass and stemware! It is nice to know that you can now change the filter very easily to the fridge without a lot of hassle. Just unscrew the old one and screw in the new one. It gives me peace of mind knowing that my ice is filtered.
