These pieces need to be flexible. No house has perfect counters or floors, the sides do not reach the back. The adhesive DOES NOT STICK, this is a piece of crap. An outrageous price for a piece of crap, we had to use our own glue & the gap at the back sucks! You need to make it cut to fit & improve the adhesive, it is bad, bad, bad
