I love my new stove except the cooktop isnt my favorite story for another time. Why are the control knobs NOT child safe??? Or my stove is defective. The knobs easily turn without having to push them in. My 3 year old grandson has turned the cooktop on a number of times. When visiting we have to block access to the stove which is difficult with an open kitchen. Ive also accidentally changed a setting while cooking just because I touched the knob while stirring something. This is a serious safety hazard Ive been looking for child safe replacement knobs but cant find any for my model stove. LG engineers made a huge mistake with the knob controls or my stove is defective.

We purchased this unit through home depot. I love how well the double oven looks and works but hate the cooktop. It doesnt clean east and it was delivered with a chip in it. Not only Will home depot not help but LG hasnt done anything either.

I called for a repair due to the fact that my burners are too hot and even on low #2 or 3 food will burn. Burner does not seem to reset to lower number. It is difficult to book as pan and food burn--burn marks in pan and food has to be removed rapidly to prevent burn The oven also is not workiing properly as food placed in the oven ends to burn toward the back of the dish or pan. Cakes have one nicely done side but back edge of cake will either be very dark or burnt. Now I have noticed a recall on LG ranges but not on my #. Technician says all is good but obviously it is not. I have cooked for over 60 years I am not a novice and know when something is not doing what is right.
